This gorgeous bag is from the fabulous ‘Bag Bible’ book by Lisa Lam. During this 4 week course, you will be taken through every stage of cutting and making to a high standard. You will learn how to make the straps, attach the fastenings and insert piping if you choose to. It has lots of features that you will learn how to use such as poppers, a lock, hooks and other metal findings. It is a fantastic first bag project.
You will need to have completed the ‘Basic Sewing Workshop’ or have some basic sewing skills already. You should know how to wind a bobbin, thread your machine and be confident sewing simple seams.
You can bring your own sewing machine or use my Brother machines. There is a daytime workshop and an evening option also. The daytime workshop is 10am-12:30pm each week. The evening workshop is 6pm-8:30pm each week.
You can either bring your own fabrics or buy everything you need at the workshops. I will have all of the bag findings you need available to buy. If you would like to order them yourself, just get in touch for a list of what you need.
