Love bags? Well this workshop is for you! You will learn how to make your own bag in your favourite colours and fabrics. You can make a simple Tote Bag, Pleated Bow Bag, Bucket Bag or simple Clutch Bag, along with a few other styles. Look through the gallery for all of the lovely options.
You will need to have completed the ‘Basic Sewing Workshop’ or have some basic sewing skills already. You should know how to wind a bobbin, thread your machine and be confident sewing simple seams.
Duration of workshop: 3 hours.
Number of places: 2-4 max.
Fabrics can be purchased by the metre and fat quarters at the workshop. You can request a photo of current fabrics in stock to help you decide before you come. You can also bring your own. I recommend using 2-3 different fabrics within most designs. I would suggest a handful of fat quarters to bring along in a range of colours to choose from if you bring your own.
For the Bucket Bag – I recommend using 2-3 different fabrics within the design. I used quarter of a metre of denim, half a metre for the lining and one/two fat quarters for the main panels on the outside. You will have lots left over with these quantities. You can either make your own simple handles in fabric or use some gorgeous French leather handles for an extra cost of £15.50. They are exclusively available at All Sewn Up.
**Please note, currently there are only a few shorter polka dot straps are in stock. You can request a photo.**
Workshop dates set are very flexible. If you would like to do a workshop on an alternative date which is not listed, then please just get in touch to arrange a suitable day and time. Mixed workshops are also available where you can make a different product at a workshop already listed online.
