Overlocker Session

Do you worry about threading your overlocker?  I get so many people tell me that they have an overlocker and are afraid to use it or re thread it, so I decided to run a 2 hour session to help you master the threading.

During this session, I will show you how to change existing threads by pulling them through and then how to thread it from scratch.  You will then have time to practice yourself so you can leave feeling a little more confident using your overlocker. You have the option to film me threading the overlocker to help you when you go home.  If you really struggle, you are welcome to bring your overlocker to any workshop you book onto, so I can thread it for you during the session.

Duration of workshop: 2 hours.

Number of places: 6 max.

What to bring: Please bring your own overlocker along with the manual and tools that came with the machine.  If you have threads, please bring some as you can leave with your overlocker threaded correctly. You can use mine also.   Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided!

During the session: You will learn how to thread the overlocker two ways.  I will provide fabrics for you to practice on.  You won’t make anything during this session but there is time to become confident threading and practising using your machine.
