The ‘Sewcial Sessions’ are for those of you who want to make a project of your choice, with expert tuition at hand throughout, and a chance to mingle with other sewing enthusiasts! The sessions are open to anyone of any skill level to attend. You will be able to bring any type of project you would like from dressmaking, bags to home furnishings and even embroidery. The choice is yours!
Please just bear in mind that I will be helping all attendees and will do my best to help you every step of the way. Please don’t bring something that you would need ‘one to one’ for. If you are totally new to dressmaking, I will need to discuss the project you are planning to work on, so that you get the most out of the sessions.
It is preferred that you have a basic knowledge of sewing for the ‘Sewcial Sessions’. I can help you with you machine but if you are new to sewing, you will need to attend an ‘Intro To Sewing’ workshop first, so that you get the most out of the time at my workshops.
Duration of workshop: 3 hours.
Number of places: 5 max.
Cost: £35. Sewing machines can be provided but I always recommend bringing your own to use.
Where: The workshop will be held in Three Crosses Community Centre, Swansea. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided!
What to bring: Everything you need to complete your chosen project. I can help and advise you on what to bring. I can also bring interfacings and equipment for you if needed.
Please note – Within the price of the ticket, there is a £10 booking charge. If you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason, you will be offered a place on the next available workshop, but you will need to pay the £10 booking charge to secure your place due to the limited numbers and hire charges incurred for the venue.
