Dressmaking The Easy Guide: Sewing Groups

Since ‘Dressmaking The Easy Guide’ was released in June 2023, the private Facebook Group has reached over 13,300 members from all over the world. Small groups are popping up all over the world, where members are getting together to help each other on their dressmaking journey, using the book. The directory lists all of the current groups in the UK and around the world.

The only cost is the Public Liability Insurance which is around £5 per month. We have charged everyone £5, there were seven of us at this meeting so that will cover seven months insurance. If anyone else joins then they will pay £5 and that will buy an extra month’s insurance.The group takes each other’s measurements and discusses the pattern blocks and how to trace the patterns.
