Heart Week Fundraising PDF 2024

* Please note this is a PDF Tutorial which will be sent via email to be downloaded and printed at home. *

Would you like to sew and raise funds for Heart Week 2024?  The Hoop Art project is super easy to make up, so it is suited to all abilities.  This is a great project to enjoy and you’ll be helping to raise some vital funds for three amazing Heart charities.

Why I fundraise for Heart Week
My little boy Morgan, was born on the 1st February 2020.  We found out he had a serious congenital heart defect at the 20 week scan.  He had his life saving heart surgery on the 10th February 2020.

To mark this huge date in our lives, which also happens to coincide with Heart Week, I have created some lovely Heart Kits which you can make at home and join in the heart making whilst raising money for a good cause.  You can buy a PDF Tutorial for the Hoop Art for £7 with £5 from each sale going to the three charities.  (You can also buy a kit to be delivered to your door for £15.  £10 from each kit will go to the three charities.)

The PDF includes:-

* Instructions and ideas sheet.

To complete the kit, you will need: –
* Calico
* Patterned piece of cotton.
* A short length of ribbon.
* Selection of threads.
* 1 x hand sewing needle
* 1 x 6 inch bamboo hoop

The hoops are available to buy if you want more at £2.50 each.  Add them on here.

The fantastic charities I am supporting:-

The Grand Appeal – We were supported by The Grand Appeal throughout our stay in Bristol with stress free accommodation and also many ways with Morgan’s care and recovery.  The support they offer the Children’s Hospital is amazing.

Heart Heroes – This is a small but amazing charity who help families of children with heart conditions.  They offer continued support to the child and the whole family in a truly unique way.

Tiny Tickers – This charity helps with the crucial detection care and treatment of babies with serious heart conditions.  Training sonographers to spot defects during routine scans is something we will forever be grateful for as it allowed us to prepare for the journey ahead.

Thank you for being a part of my fundraising for these truly worthy charities. Helen x
