I really loved the session yesterday evening and learned a lot too. You make us all very welcome and share generously of your time. Thank you.

The ‘Sewcial Sessions’ are for those of you who want to make a project of your choice, with expert tuition at hand throughout, and a chance to mingle with other sewing enthusiasts! The sessions are open to anyone of any skill level to attend. You will be able to bring any type of project you would like from dressmaking to bags, to home furnishings etc. The choice is yours!
Please just bear in mind that I will be helping all attendees and will do my best to help you every step of the way. Please don’t bring something that you would need ‘one to one’ for. You might be interested in my other Dressmaking courses to coincide with my dressmaking book, Dressmaking. The Easy Guide.

Where: The workshops will be held in Three Crosses Community Centre.
What to bring: Please bring your own equipment. I can provide sewing machines but I always recommend bringing your own if you have one. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided!
What to make: It is advisable to let me know what you are planning to make before the sessions so I can advise you with what you need to bring. If you need help deciding, you could look through my list of workshops and I can bring a pattern and advise you with what else you may need. You could also choose one of the lovely kits I sell in my Sewing Shop.
Skill level: Ideally, you will need to have completed the ‘Intro To Sewing Workshop’ or have some basic sewing skills already. You should know how to wind a bobbin, thread your machine and be confident sewing simple seams.
Tools and equipment: I sell a range of tools and equipment needed for dressmaking and general sewing. You can order these online and have postage refunded on collection.
Please note – Within the price of the ticket, there is a £15 booking charge. If you are unable to attend the workshop for any reason, you will be offered a place on the next available workshop, but you will need to pay the £15 booking charge to secure your place due to the limited numbers and hire charges incurred for the venue.
