'Sew Social Sessions' with Helen

The ‘Sew Social Sessions’ are for those of you who want to make a project of your choice with expert tuition at hand throughout and a chance to mingle with other sewing enthusiasts!  These 5 week sessions will be open to anyone of any skill level to attend.  You will be able to bring any type of project you would like from clothing to bags to home furnishings. Over the 5 weeks, I will help you complete the projects to the highest standard and help you to realise your sewing goals for just £10 an hour.

You can take your pick which sessions you would like to attend.  They don’t have to be consecutive.  Just pick your dates from the available MIXER workshops and email me at to confirm them.

To pay for your place, just choose which month you want to start in and your chosen workshop dates will be confirmed with you via email.

Duration of workshop:
 5 weeks. 15 hours.

Where: Design Studio in Dunvant.

Number of places: 4 max.

Daytime and Evening Sessions:  I have a selection of workshops running weekly so you can join anytime.  I just need a minimum of two to attend each workshop so it is recommended you check each week and as long as there are two that session, the workshop will run.

Cost: £150.  Payments can be split before the sessions are due to start but the £150 must be paid in full a week before the start date.  Dates can be flexible for workshops.

You may also pay as you go if you need to.  Please contact me to request this option.  You be charged £35 for the first four workshops and then just £10 for the last one.  The 5 workshops must be booked within a 3 month period or you may lose the discount.

Please note: It is advisable to let me know what you are planning to make before the sessions so I can advise you with what you need to bring.  I can provide sewing machines if needed and equipment such as scissors, threads, and pins.

You will need to have completed the ‘Intro To Sewing Workshop’ or have some basic sewing skills already. You should know how to wind a bobbin, thread your machine and be confident sewing simple seams.
